Natural Jute Rope

The traditional rope used in Japanese bondage, our new stock of Tossa Jute Rope is similar to our processed natural hemp in color with only a slight stiffness that becomes softer and more relaxed with use and breaking in. Tossa Jute is softer and silkier than the White Jute which we carried previously with a lovely golden brown color and incredible smoothness and sheen that photographers love. Our current stock of 6MM is a White Tossa Jute with the 5MM and 7MM stocks a more golden brown Tossa Jute. This beautiful rope has a natural durability, strength and overall structure perfect for long term and excessive use in bondage and with a well defined, tight 3 ply twist - the marks are beautiful. We offer our Jute Rope in processed lengths, both natural and dyed. Please note - our Jute can not be considered a loose laid Asanawa type of jute. Why don't we carry Asanawa or loose laid jute? We find that is wears out much faster compared to our tighter twist Jute Rope. Our standard is a wet processing and includes oiling with our beeswax blended Tsubaki Oil so when we ship, it is ready for use. As jute is by nature a rougher and drier fiber, condition, oil and wax the rope further as it suits you. Our professional processing does not harm or weaken the rope.

Rope comes in a 5MM, 6MM and 7MM diameters in 5ft, 10ft, 12ft, 15ft, 20ft, 25ft, 30ft, 35ft, 40ft, 45ft, 50ft, 5M, 6M, 7M, 8M, 10M and 12M lengths with choice of finished ends. Please note prices may fluctuate slightly as raw rope prices increase or decrease.
