Process Your Own Hemp Rope Kits
There is a unique energy in playing with rope you processed yourself. We have created these kits for those who want to learn to process their own Romanian Hemp rope in a selection of easy DIY kits. There is plenty of rope in each kit along with Bondage Shears, choice of one rope oil - 4 oz bottle of Coconut Oil or Hemp Oil, dye packets and our instructional disc on how to easily process your own rope along with some tips and tricks. All kits come with Sailmaker's whipped ends. Our dye packets are brilliant, color fast dyes which are easy to use and are non toxic when used correctly. Dye is measured according to weight/amount of raw rope in each kit and includes a color fixative and dye set agent. Additional dye packets are $2.50/each with these kits only and we suggest ordering a couple additional dye packets depending on the depth of color you want to achieve and to experiment with. The darker the color, the more dye you will need (i.e. Black rope equals to 3-4 dye packets, Reds, Purples and Blues tend to be 2-4 dye packets) Color choices can be found on our Dye page in the DIY Supplies section. Our Basic Hemp Rope kit is a fun starter kit that introduces you to some standard lengths of conditioned Romanian Hemp rope that can be used in almost any basic tie. Made in Romania from certified organic hemp that is processed without pesticides or chemicals of any kind, our line of organic hemp ropes are hand treated, dyed a variety of colors and delivered with knotted or whipped ends - ready to use right away. Hemp ropes have always been valued for their natural strength and resistance, ability to hold knots, softness and its natural smell, all of which makes it an ideal fiber for bondage.

Japanese Jute Rope Kit |
The traditional rope used in Japanese bondage, our Jute Rope is similar to our hemp in texture in a light tan color with a slight stiffness that becomes softer with use and breaking in. This beautiful rope has a natural durability and strength perfect for bondage and with a well defined 3 ply twist, the marks are beautiful. To dry process, we lightly burnish and oil so when we ship, it is ready for use.
Each kit includes 5 lengths of rope:
- 5 x 7M (6MM) Natural Japanese Jute Rope processed with knotted ends - 1 x Bondage Safety Shears
